The Mag-Lite flashlight was created in 1979 in the U.S.A. by Antony Maglica. He used his considerable skills as an experimental machinist to engineer a torch that could be granted a life time guarantee.

The Mag-Lite was initially targeted at professionals such as the police and fire fighters, whose lives often depended on the reliability of their torches.

This torch requires 3 D-size batteries.
