This ‘HANDY AID’ rubber gripper was first patented in 1942 and is one of those items every home should have! It was designed to aid opening jars and screw top lids, as well as something to avoid blisters when using tools like screwdrivers.
To this day it continues to be made by a family business in the USA, to the same specification; the only update was to make it in a non-latex material, creating an even better grip.
